Couldn't give two shits about the lawn, likely going to be putting down black top chips soon.

Actually starting to look like a used car lot, except for the lack of cars. Working 7 days a week on buying and repairing and I can't keep the suckers on the lot.

I haven't owned a gaming console in 10 years and haven't played one in at least 8 years. I just bought a 4gb Xbox360 and Call of Duty Black Ops II and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. I think those will fuck over my addictive personality and OCD. I may not get a good nights sleep again while I am here after they show up. TVs took 14 days. But were a smoking deal. 29" Samsung LED for $149 ($200 off regular price) so I bought two.

Once the National Geospatial guys come through with my unclass maps of my AO and this base, I will be set. I really wanted a couch in here but they are hard to come by. That, and I am sure that as soon as I get good and planted, they are gonna uproot me to another AO.

Finally got my TVs for my new work location. I am now up north near the Tajik border south of Mazar-i-Sharif as the AO Security Manager (now if they will pay me the title's rate). The last 1/3 of the tent is my office/living.

Just need my new Xbox360 and a couple games to show up.

One of the coolest parts of my job is that I get to do some volunteer work with kids. This was created, and made by them, to perfection. This is their competition dessert this year.

White chocolate mousse, raspberry gelee and brûlée'd bananas on a waffle cookie topped with a fried banana garnished with vanilla bean, spun sugar, raspberry, and mint.

Gotta love rov's. I was gonna work for them right out of the navy. Wish they would have let me talk to an ops manager before i was done with my training. Would probably still be working for them.

No jets, whirly birds. Eurocopter stuff. Or should I say airbus helicopters now.

Yea, those are for the Marines. UH-1Y.. aka Venom.. aka Super Huey.. The Marines are using them to replace their old UH-1N models. Same fuselage (with mods) but otherwise a very different bird. It has a variant of the T700 engines from the Blackhawk. Obviously it has two as opposed to the single T53 Lycoming of the original Hueys..

One thing that I was always curious about the N and now Y models of the Huey is why did they mount the tail rotor on the starboard side as opposed to the port side with the UH-1H,D, M and pretty much any Army variant.
