    Everything I've heard says that the camaro is a better chassis for taking corners. This doesn't seem that surprising to me.

    4 seconds difference on one track isn't enough to make me want to buy that camaro over a boss, but really it's win/win. I want to live in a world where mustangs and camaros are trying their damnedest to whip up on each other and both perform well.

    I'd like to see both cars with World Challenge spec Pirelli 305 slicks all the way around + proper alignment. I think they would be a lot closer, plus it would be more in line with what a road course enthusiast would do.

    I see a lot of times for both GTR and 911 behind the z/28. In the link you provided. You have to mention the 7:24 time is a gt2 rs @$250k that Porsche would never confirm with video or say if it was 100% factory.

    Just the tires alone could make that much difference in lap times. Anybody serious in road racing won't have stock tires on it. If like to see a comparison on equal tires and see if its closer.
