Correction... I run 1200watts for my midbass/mids/Highs. 900 for the front stage and 300 for the rear fill.

Thee electrical system in my Explorer couldn't keep up. Kinetik HC2400 and a 250 amp alternator. I invested a crap ton into the electrical system for my F250, with a 370 amp alternator and two of the brand new Kinetik Pro Series 2000 batteries, with an adjustable voltage regulator. I should be golden with that setup.

I hope to have it finished soon. I just have to mount the second 750/1 somewhere and get a new enclosure built. I am replacing the center console with a ported enclosure at roughly 3 cubes, maybe a little more, tuned to 30 hz. I have had two boxes built for this already, and neither one fit to my liking, so it's back to the drawing board. Hopefully 3rd time's a charm. It's tough getting this much system in a pickup when I actually use the back seat and all of the bed for actual truck stuff. It's worth losing the center console/jumpseat, though. I'd put another 15 in there somewhere if I could.

I'm confident it can handle it. I still have two Type R 15s in my Explorer and was using an HD 750/1 on each one, and that shit was pretty ridiculous. Hell, I run 900 watts for my midbass/mids/highs, so it's crazy loud.

I like the KS Powers. Damn fine quality speaker there. The problem with Focal is you listen to theic cheap one and say "Wow, that sounds superb. Gotta have it" and then you listen to the Polyglass and say "Wow, even better!" and then you listen to the Expert series and think "Oh my, that's really sounds excellent" and then want them and then you hear the K2 Powers and say "Oh my god I must have those! How much? That's more than my mortage!" and then you hear the Utopia and contemplate which body part to sell.

    Pic related.

On another note my system wasn't built to be a ground pounder. My subs can handle 2000 watts RMS and I only send them 500 at max output. I wanted my stereo to sound like you were in the recording room with the artist or like you were front row center at a concert. They can get loud enough to irritate but I have heard many systems with a single sub that can easily out pound my little system.

There was a stereo shop in Oak Cliff (Sampson Car Audio) that turned me onto them and me and a buddy of mine got into them. My buddy bought into the high current competition amps (Isis I believe) while I bought into a dedicate subwoofer amp (Hercules) and a stereo amp for my mids and tweets (can't remember the model). EW will probably admit to laughing when I showed up at his shop with a pair of them that I bought on eBay back in 2002-2003. The laugh was probably warrantied when they failed on my not to long after that and I resold them back on eBay for a loss. But it was all good as he introduced me to the JL Audio Slash Series and I bought two JL 500/5's for each of my vehicles at the time. I still have one of them in my SuperCirew and couldn't be happier.
Those guys at Sampsons could damn near fix anything. They turned me on to PPI and HiFonics back in the day also. While those were nice the Orion Reds I ran in a bug could not be beat. One 50 watt amp running 8 subs and it was a monster. Nothing like a wall of speakers behind your head. I use to run Crunch Pro Cast 18's, or at one point Petra DVC 15's. 16-5 1/4's, and a couple of JBL tweeters. Alpine was one of the only CD players that wouldn't skip in my car. Ahhhh the good ole days. Between that and my Infinity SM15's with Yamaha B2X amp in the house it is amazing I still have perfect hearing. My neighbors were all cool though and would walk down and check out what I was doing when I was building a system. Now I like a mild set up but still have to have my bass. Anyone remember Nemesis?

This is my new $330 setup minus my existing wiring. Theres an 1100w class d on the backside of the box. It hurts when its turned up. The cars stock stereo sounds great through the pioneer avhx2600bt. Im really happy with it and the deadener was icing on my cake. I like songs with bass that I can feel more than hear.

I try to be the nice guy and not the asshole but I guess at times I can be one. Maybe last night was my time.
Hell, for all I know last night they could have just been patrolling and I was over sensitive to the issue.

I did pull my truck in the shop and put on a couple of the bass heavy songs I was listening to last night and set it at the same volume and then closed the doors just to see what it was like. While the bay doors did rattle I couldn't feel anything bass wise as soon as I stepped out of the service bay. But I do have constant traffic here to mask it so who knows.
I didn't say you were name calling either, it was merely a question. We don't have problems in the least.
