I know this has turned into mostly talk about racing at mikes but i figured i would post a couple pictures of the build i am starting.

Roll call who all is racing tomorrow? I will be running 4wd open sct. Hopefully my new changes puts me closer to the front and not flying off the track and hitting Elvis.

i believe that the associated and the losi are more the pure race truck than my slash is. but i must give it up that the slash i dang near bulletproof. now that i also have a stampede for bashing around, i kinda wish i would have got one of those instead of the slash since i now find myself at the race track every thursday night. oh well. i assure you the slash 4x4 is more capable than i am as a driver!!!

X2. Check out Aaron Reynolds. He used to dominate 4wd with a slash. Now he has a losi and is almost untouchable but he proved you can win with a slash too. It's mostly driver in rc but having a nice truck made for racing never hurts either.

Get to mikes early thurs. I put the castle 1410 4 pole motor/esc combo from my SC10 4x4 in my 2wd stampede. Going to put a few laps in with it. Should be interesting, as I cant even hit full throttle without it flipping over. Need to have a little fun before the racing starts

Does anyone offer a SC10 4x4 as a package deal with controller, motor, esc, LiPo, and charger for a decent price? I'm leaning towards the Traxxas Slash Platinum edition if not....

How much? I may be sold on Traxxas since they are build the corporate HQ right up the street. Going to have a retail section and a track open to the public plus I already have a nitro T-Maxx.

Mike's just redid the out door track and it's sick. If you have an 1/8th scale buggy/truggy then you will love it. 4x4 SC guys will like it too, but 2wd SC guys will need to stay inside.

They race on the outdoor track on Saturday nights now starting at 7.

Really looking forward to lawn darting my 1/8th buggy there very soon! I keep waiting for some videos to pop up from last week. However I have found nothing as of yet. The pics of the track look great! Just hope it gets maintained and watered as needed so that it stays in good shape!

1/10 it will be running a valineon motor in a conversion im doing. 2s-3s is fine.
