yall change the gearing for the outdoor track?? i am going to "try" and run my first 5k sunday morn and i have a softball doubleheader sunday eve so i will prolly try to crash out early saturday night.

I will be out for about 2 weeks....not going to be in town. Once I get back I will be running outdoors in the e buggy class. Probably buy the SC10 4x4 on the next race day I come over. Then have to wait another week to race it so I can have time to get it built.

By the way, don't forget to get signed up for the Short Course Showdown race in Sept. Just looked at the entry list and there are 84 entries in the 4WD class!!!

Had a blast over there last night. The outdoor track is a blast. I will be joining you all in the short course class in a few weeks. My results were not as good as the Super Coupe or Slovanova's.

Ha, I finished 6th out of 9 only because 3 people couldnt finish. I wouldnt exactly say that was good results. It was fun though. Go ahead and get that Associated i have been nothing but happy with it. The more the merrier

That would be real cool. I don't think the losi has any advantage after you get sway bars installed. There were actually a few losi's that couldn't make the 10 minute main cause they ran out of juice.

You looked good out there man. That buggy has some serious power. Have you decided which truck you want?

I think I had a couple of "hero laps" but my average laps were not anywhere on pace with the rest of the 1/8th E buggy guys. I think my quick lap was around 34.6 secs. Once the sun went down I had very little traction (running hard compound tires) and my depth perception at night was HORRIBLE!!!

As for power. I am running the RX8/1900kv on 4s. I have all the power settings turned WAY down. I have the current limiter on the ESC is set a 40%. Then the throttle EXP is set at -65%.

As for what truck I plan to get. Was leaning toward the Losi 4wd but thinking I may go with the Associated so all of us here on DFWMustangs have the same truck. It would be easier to help each other out. Spare parts, testing different set-ups, wheels and all that.

Lol that's not right. Had a blast tonight. From now on I'm racing 4x4 outside. Qualified 2nd and finished 3rd. Had 10 trucks I think. Hopefully get more next week.
