Im far from it. I just dont sit around talking shit about a product that works. Glocks work, they do everything theyre suppose to. I used to own a lot of different pistols, I even had a couple HK's and I thought I was hot shit. I think HK's are for people who buy guns to look cool for their friends as I see no reason to pay that god damned much money for a gun that doesnt offer anything more than a glock, springfield, kahr, etc. Dont give me the damn external safety argument, for the 500 I save by buying a Glock or Springfield I can buy a damn gun safe.Originally posted by DOHCTR View PostGlock nut-huggers are so easy to troll.
Glock doesn't dominate the handgun market cause they suck

Truth. Its gonna be a range gun and a possible home defense gun, NOT a carry gun. No reason for that horrendous thing glock calls a "trigger" if its not going to be carried.Originally posted by 5.0_CJ View PostI'd vote for a CZ-75 or Witness over a glock. Glocks work, but that's it. The trigger is shit, I don't like how they shoot, and they have no soul.

Second choice would be XDm
Third Sig P220
CDNN has a USP 45 full size for $540, a Sig 226 for $490.
Damn is that what they go for now? I stockpiled some last I had the chance, some guy was selling LEO leftovers and they were much cheaper. If they go for that, might be time to sell a few. But the upside is, nobody else makes USP mags except HK. Its not like the 1911 that you have to be cautious of who made the magazine. Not saying the USP is superior, but just one less concern to have when purchasing a magazine.Originally posted by 5.0_CJ View PostUSP Compact is a good choice but not in his budget. Maybe he could find a used one with a single mag for that, maybe. Last time I sold one I got $850, and the mags are $50 each.

I bought a 1911 as my first gun and it's been great, operates smoothly and feels nice in your hand. I use it for the range and a SHTF situation at home. I haven't had any experience with any of the XD's but people always have good things to say about them. I will agree with most others and say shoot a few different guns before you buy one.Originally posted by Nash B.Damn, man. Sorry to hear that. If it'll cheer you up, Geor swallows. And even if it doesn't cheer you up, it cheers him up.

CDNN has used USP's for $499? That's crazy cheap. I'd be all over that shit if they have tacticals for near that price."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin
