Correct but it has pretty good "bones". With a good barrel, BCG, and quality trigger - you can have a nice rifle with out throwing a lot of pieces away.

I tried looking online, but most of what I read referred to the Gen 1, and wasn't very kind about it.

My guess is they ran out of milsurp barrels since then. I wouldn't be surprised if they're using the more modern chamber flute that works with commercial.

Also, they don't support commercial brass, so it's a matter of time before one rips a case in half and leaves the front portion in the chamber. Hell, there's even a TFB article about it.

I've probably inspected 30 century cetmes and g3 clones over the years. Not one of them was assembled correctly. If you have one that works, you're lucky.
