    Exactly. AR-10 stuff is always proprietary to the AR-10 and FAR more expensive than AR15 parts.

    and yes, it's the G3 clone that incorporates used bolts and surplus moving parts with new barrels and receivers along with a welded rail on the top. I bought a ton of surplus mags, 55 of them I think for around $100. VERY fun gun with little reason to accessorize.

    That's the G3 knock-off isnt it? That would be a lot of fun too.

    The AR platform is just so customizable right now that I can mix and match to get something that i like as I get more into the hobby.

    Ryan, why are you considering an Ar-10? Just to muddy the waters for you at a similar price point, I love my century arms C308....and you can buy cases of mags for cheap. No gas tube to clean and plenty of HK knock off fun. I put a nice brake on it and it shoots so nice and it is more unique.
