Cool. Here is my mad stack.

I suggest you test them all if you care about a dented magazine. Don't be scared.

I posted a picture of a few dozen AKs last summer and you can find it if you look. It was posted in the armory section under "new toy" where I was ridiculed for saying that I had 2 of a particular model (FYI I have 3 of them now) of lever action 22s. You can also see a pic that I posted of the 22s along with a funny note directed to a member here.Originally posted by SS Junk View PostCare to post up some pics of your arsenal and these inferior mags first? Who cares what magazine dents more than the other, if it doesn't initially feed then it's useless. If you post the pictures and make me happy I will suck you off, naynay too.
I care if a magazine dents easily as a dent will prevent the follower from moving through the body of the magazine without binding up and as I have said repeatedly I have not had a problem with the magazines feeding.
Edit: I will concede the point that I have not tested every single one of the Gibbs magazines for function. Out of the ones that I bought I believe that I have tested 10-15 of them with zero issues.Last edited by svauto-erotic855; 01-27-2016, 10:44 AM.

Care to post up some pics of your arsenal and these inferior mags first? From how defensive you are getting it's a sheer sign you are full of shit, and who cares what magazine dents more than the other, if it doesn't initially feed then it's useless.Originally posted by svo855 View PostWhat are your experiences with this model or do you believe that I should go with another manufactures offering?
Your shit is boring, and has run its course. It's my thread now.Originally posted by Magnus View PostYou guys need your own thread or something? How'd this turn into something about ak mags?

No shit! I'm too tired and about to go to sleep, or else I would delete their bickering...Originally posted by Magnus View PostYou guys need your own thread or something? How'd this turn into something about ak mags?

I would not have bought them if they were not on sale; just like all of the rest of the mags that I have pack ratted over the years. I can dent Korean mags by striking them, the Gibbs one do not dent as easily and appear to be made from thicker metal.Originally posted by SS Junk View PostI have both. I beg to differ.
Perhaps they've changed their supplier, or brought in a new batch of kids to run the sweatshop.
Weird since on Gibbs website it states even at their cheapest price they are roughly $6 to $10 more than what you allegedly paid. I take it you know everyone who works there?
This is what I wrote them after my purchase:
My results with them differ from yours; big fucking deal bra. Maybe I should consult with you for advice about future purchases that I am considering. I am going to order a Sig SRD338Ti-QD in the next few days. What are your experiences with this model or do you believe that I should go with another manufactures offering?Last edited by svauto-erotic855; 01-26-2016, 10:41 PM.

Hello,
In the past I wrote a negative review regarding the "toughest AK magazine
made. Period."
I am here again with picture proof as to why the above statement is crap.
A private space for your group's photos and videos. Share, react, and relive moments together. Available on iOS, Android, and desktop. Free for new sign-ups.
This is your magazine fully seated into my AK. Notice how low the first
cartridge sits? Two out of the three I bought sit so low the bolt will not
catch them. The third will catch the very tip of the cartridge, push it for
a bit and then run over it so it gets wedged between the feed ramp and the
bolt.

Another angle of the same magazine fully seated.

This is a good one. On the left, closest to the camera, is the inferior
pile of crap magazine I am complaining about. On the right is a cheap
Hungarian milsurp magazine I bought for half the price, have tested several
times and has never had a FTF issue.

Another angle. See the vast difference in the feed lips of the two? Can
you not tell why your magazine is complete crap? PERIOD.
Unlike the bloke who got all upset when I tried to haggle for a lower price,
I cannot, in good conscience, sell or even give these away to any one
person. They'll most likely be used as targets.

I randomly sampled about 5% of them and they all functioned perfectly in various makes of rifles, they even worked in a 2nd gen 556r. I can not say the same for any of the Korean mags that I have tried before. They are also considerably stouter then the Korean mags.Originally posted by SS Junk View PostFor the price you paid you should test them all. Korean mags are more dependable than those pieces of shit.
