Doesn't look like any dents but some pretty deep scratches and the paint appears to be worn through pretty good where the tire marks are at the back edge of the drivers door. Possibly some sanding and paint I'm thinking.

Based on the google map image his house is set back from the road, so I doubt we could get pics. Besides, at this point he has already admitted that he was driving and it was his truck, he just denies doing the hitting. Leah filed the claim on his insurance today (he gave the info to the cop when he called him). The police report is still going down as a hit and run and the responding officer is trying to get approval to write him tickets for that and other things. Otherwise the info is all forwarded to the DA or whatever. He is still trying to dispute that he is at fault but Leah talked to the cop again today and based on what he is saying the report should be pretty clearly in her favor.

At this point we just wait and see. Hopefully he gets dicked for the criminal charges on top of the claim going on his policy.

I found the number using the address and name above. He claims she hit him. So I said "if she hit you why did YOU leave the scene". He said " I didn't leave the scene, I stopped and had no damage so I left"

Spoke to Leah and she says he never got out that she could see..

Want me to try to contact the guy first? Otherwise file on your uninsured motorist and fork out a $250 deductible - rental car, time off work, etc is all handled under the uninsured motorist coverge. You have rental car benefits built in as well though, just in case
