I loved my car when I bought it. Now I just want it fixed so I can sell the damn thing. It's been a constant nickel and dime since I bought it. After replacing the alternator for the third time in two years I started thinking of selling it. Then the bottom end let go.....07 f250-family truckster

I changed 3 alternators on both of my 03's. I can do it in under 30 minuets now, so I understand. I got a built motor with the whipple to avoid motor drama, but you are right, they do require upkeep.Originally posted by whitetrash View PostI loved my car when I bought it. I know what you're saying, but I sold my '03 10th Anniversary Cobra vert last year for a little over $20K. It was in pristine condition, no big mods and only had like 28K miles on it. It took a while, but the right buyer finally found it. Sum'bitch drove all the way from Idaho to get it.Originally posted by talisman View PostI've been trying to figure out for over a year how people still think those things are worth 25k. I'd be hard pressed to fork out 15k for a nice one with the new 5.0s out.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

i did that, my issue with it is just the frustration of having to swap them.Originally posted by dustin View PostFor all the alternator issue guys, I purchased an alternator at Autozone and it came with a lifetime warranty. Doesn't really help with the labor but at least you won't have to pay for more than one.07 f250-family truckster
