03/04 cobra owners

If you don't think my car is worth 23k, you are lying to yourself.

The amount of personal satisfaction it brings me, every time I turn the key on, would offset any monetary discrepancies of the price of the vehicle.

Has anyone on this board, who has owned a 03-04 Cobra, not been satisfied with their purchase?

I loved my car when I bought it. Now I just want it fixed so I can sell the damn thing. It's been a constant nickel and dime since I bought it. After replacing the alternator for the third time in two years I started thinking of selling it. Then the bottom end let go.....

I changed 3 alternators on both of my 03's. I can do it in under 30 minuets now, so I understand. I got a built motor with the whipple to avoid motor drama, but you are right, they do require upkeep.

I've been trying to figure out for over a year how people still think those things are worth 25k. I'd be hard pressed to fork out 15k for a nice one with the new 5.0s out.

I know what you're saying, but I sold my '03 10th Anniversary Cobra vert last year for a little over $20K. It was in pristine condition, no big mods and only had like 28K miles on it. It took a while, but the right buyer finally found it. Sum'bitch drove all the way from Idaho to get it.

I got a pretty solid alternator. It has been good to me. I'm at #2. *knock on wood*

Many of them out there with turbos, whipples, and KBs, rear end upgrades, input shaft, fuel system upgrades with e85, exhaust, and decent mileage are worth every bit of 25k.

I don't think they are worth that much and thus I do not own one.

Kind of amazed they are still priced in that range. Of course I was happy to get what I got out of my car a few years ago.

For all the alternator issue guys, I purchased an alternator at Autozone and it came with a lifetime warranty. Doesn't really help with the labor but at least you won't have to pay for more than one.

i did that, my issue with it is just the frustration of having to swap them.

same here. My oversived alternator pulley has helped with the failure rate.
