Traditionally, the couple pays for the second wedding.

Your happiness doesn't center around the love of your own life, it centers around your relationship, being loved by, taking care of and being cared for and needed by your fiancé, and being needed as Evan's father figure.

You jumped out of the marriage bed and straight into a relationship with the redhead, then you turned around and jumped straight into the relationship with Lauren. You didn't give yourself the chance to heal from a bad marriage or the subsequent mental breakdown, and you sure as hell haven't given yourself the opportunity to get to know the Levi that exists outside of a relationship.

Yes, it's awesome to come home to someone that loves and respects you. It's awesome to have a team mate. It's also awesome and liberating to learn to love yourself without it being artificially fed by an outside person telling you how amazing and wonderful you are or how much they love, need, and appreciate you.

I haven't said anything that comes from a place of loneliness, cynicism, or jealousy. As Brent pointed out, I'm happily married.
That is a great answer! Thank you! With me being out of work being injured, I spend my days alone and doing what i want. I have rediscovered my old self. I fish again, I stay busy with projects, and have started on a new career path. Big oil is big money, but it does not make me happy. Becoming and ER nurse will make me happy. Constant adrenaline rush mixed with helping people=my true calling.

So far, this seems like the right path......i can just hope for the best and hang on for dear life if it goes awry.

Youre getting married again? Why? I agree with the codependency diagnosis.

What I am starting to see a trend in is people that are alone and cover themselves in a fake mask of happiness and try and convince others around them that they are happy with being single. Seriously? You are happy not sharing time with someone that you share all of your experiences with?

    Why?

No thanks. even though my divorce sucked and a lot of my marriage sucked, I am thankful for every single day of it. I grew as much on the good days as the bad days and learned from every day.

I will take the good with the bad every day over coming home alone and telling everyone how "awesome" it is.
