Treating someone differently because of a choice they make is not the same as treating someone differently because of how they were born.

And some people are born fat, ugly, skinny, pretty, short, tall, muscular, cellulite filed, bald, hairy, etc. It is a physical appearance. If someone wants to be fat be fat, them being fat does not harm me. And as far as the insurance argument, um I probably have cost more in insurance than plenty of obese individuals. All my life insurance policies are small and with ten different companies so I can avoid medical history otherwise I am uninsurable.

Since I didn't chime in on the original topic, I'll give it a shot. I generally dont treat overweight people any differently. I have friends and family that are large and I guess It just doesn't bother me. That said, if someone if disgusting, I do treat them differently. Whether they are disgustingly filthy, disgustingly obese, disgustingly rude, etc, I don't care, disgusting is disgusting and I have a knee jerk reaction to it.

I also find reading the posts containing people's heights and weights, and their personal view on what class they are "considered" to be in and their goals, is very interesting. There is a lot of variation out there. 5'8" 185lbs, here, I will soon be working on getting closer to 200. Good luck on everyone reaching their goals.

Trust me, I fully understand getting caught up in the entertainment of DFWM banter, it's fun and it's good sport for those that can handle it. But alot of people really can't handle it. Plus, the over the top things you say at times, makes some people rethink if you are joking or not, yes, it's over the top for shock value and you may not believe the things you are saying, but the simple fact you were able to think of it in the first place makes it questionable not to your intent, but you character as well. I'm just as guilty of this as you are provoking SEB for so long for my own sick entertainment, but I didn't realize how much of an asshole I was being about it for just entertainment purposes.

I love being sarcastic ass with my friends who can handle it too, Don, Adam, Womack, friends of mine I know nothing will offend them and it's all in good fun. Not everyone is equipped to deal with that type of humor though. I, personally really don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, know I have done so on here isn't cool. I want to laugh and have a good time like anyone else, there is just ways to go about it in a big public setting such as this one. "Our" humor doesn't translate well online apparently.

Sounds like people need to up their dose of prozac or call the amberlamps to me. The liberal leaning types need to just carry their asses on to another site if they cannot deal with the things said in this forum.

It's happening more and more. Bullying and ridiculing people to point they break is serious business these days. With so much online social networking being mainstream, many people take what is said online seriously. I didn't learn this until recently myself. I had no idea the things I said online could effect someone so much. Reason being I'm doing my best to tone it down as much as possible.



As much as he dishes out on others, he should expect it back. More often than not, his threads that he creates are more of a fishing expedition to provoke reaction. It's also why he so often makes comments that are WAY over the line. I just can't decide if he's truly that much of an compassionless prick or not.
