I'm also extremely fucking serious and angry about this whole thread... my entire self-worth is wrapped up in how people on dfwmustangs perceive me, and if it wasn't for the fact that my life insurance policy doesn't cover suicide, I'd probably end it all after reading this thread.

a bunch of people pay money every month for coverage... when one of them gets sick, the insurance company takes some of that big pool of money and gives it to the person who needs it.

believe it or not, insurance companies are BUSINESSES that make money... if everyone was constantly hitting up their insurance companies for tens-hundreds of thousands of dollars a year while only paying in a couple grand a year, they wouldn't exist.

my point is, I don't use my health insurance... but I keep paying in... and my money goes toward medical procedures for people who need them... EVEN SKINNY PEOPLE!!! oh nose, now I'm super angry again, I'm going to go drown my sorrows in a light jog and then hit the weights and tear up my rotator cuff or maybe go ride a motorcycle and shatter my femur so that I can make use of my insurance
