I think I'm destined to be fat honestly. I've never been below 300lbs in the last 8 years, and in that period I was running several miles a day and biking 12+ miles each evening. I think a lot of it has to do with your build. I keep most of my weight in my chest, arms, and neck.
[
I've definitely put some weight on, but I'll have it off again. Seems I'm very apt to stop my regular exercising routine, I probably need some friends to work out with on a regular basis. I'm fat for a simple reason, I eat too damn much and don't exercise enough. Pretty simple conclusion.
You must be very tall. You don't look like you weigh 300 lbs to me. Talking about carrying your weight well.
Steve, Drysdale is a big dude. If you wanna see why size matters watch Roger Gracie. Once skill and technique levels are the same the only thing that will separate the two would be size and strength. Think about your match from naga, maybe you had that guy skill wise but from what you said he was twice your size. Hard to do anything with that. I'm a small guy who's reminded every time I roll just how much size does matter.
BTW you had me LOL at tapping like Sammy Davis Jr.
I disagree. Weight only matters when skill is lacking. How do you explain small guys like Marcelo Garcia or Robert Drysdale or Kron who dominate Absolute divisions? Mat time and experience tells me that weight doesn't matter. Because I weigh more I'm going to go over there and dominate Danny who is all of maybe 150lbs? I think not.
If you get in a street fight, you going to tell the guy you can't fight him because you aren't in the same weight class? lol. You deal with what is given to you.
There are weight classes in sporting events because people are crybabies. Everyone wants their trophies and medals, not to be warriors. I LOVE rolling with monsters like Adam and Fernando (another monster Adam's size at our gym) Because when you get the hang of it, it's alot easier to handle others.
Every person has their things they are good at and weak at, but in todays society no one wants to admit their weaknesses and work on them to make them strengths. It's easier to bitch and try to make exuses about weight differences rather than work with the monsters. To be great, you have to go outside your comfort zone and push yourself.
...Being an idiot must be draining on you if you feel so strongly about some one replying negatively to your constantly flawed pov. In that case, I am glad being stupid is painful for you.
Lmgdao. If I had sigs turned on, this would be in it.
I'm going to repeat it but try to read it slower if that's what it takes for you to understand.
I said:
To which you replied:
I never said that his earning power in any way infringed on anyone else or that he must earn more. I stated that, rather than bitch about fat people costing him money, he should focus on how he has cost himself money. He should focus on what he can change and not what he can't. Is that simple enough for you to figure out?
Quote as many posts as you want. People disagreeing with me or otherwise, it has absolutely nothing to do with what you posted... because you never thought to even read the thread. You've been trying to hump my leg for a week now. Get a fucking life.
Since we are saying the exact same thing and you are too dense to get it on your own, I'll try to simplify it.
You suggested he not worry about where his tax/insurance money went. You instead suggested he change his career choice in order to earn more money. I said that was ridiculous, because he should not have to change his career in order to fund others and has the right to question where his tax/ins dollars are spent.
Again with not reading the thread? What am I missing, captain comprehension? Arguing with you over two ridiculous points you have failed to make is "trying to hump your leg"? You are a sad piece of self centered shit if you think that, and your need to "get a fucking" life parallels mine if that is the case. Being an idiot must be draining on you if you feel so strongly about some one replying negatively to your constantly flawed pov. In that case, I am glad being stupid is painful for you.
Follow you around? LOL @ your little world. I am not at fault for you making ridiculous posts on a forum I read.
Since I got it so wrong because you believe I did not read the thread, lets review it.
The argument was that he did not want his tax/insurance dollars going to fund the treatment of people who made thier choice to live a less than healthy lifestyle. Your reply was:.
So, since you believe that he shouldn't care about where his tax/insurance money is spent and instead should modify his career choice to better support others, instead of questioning how his current tax/insurance money is spent. And that makes me think you are an idiot, along with a few other people:
Soo, what subject matter did I not comprehend mr mensa?
I'm going to repeat it but try to read it slower if that's what it takes for you to understand.
see my previous comment. I don't think anyone should have to support anyone else. That's just the hand we're dealt right now.
I'm just saying that he should focus on the things that he could, and still can, actually change in order to have more money. Looking down at others isn't going to do any good. It's easier then doing something for yourself though, isn't it?
You are an idiot. If it is his choice to earn next to nothing a year and it does not affect or infringe upon anyone else, that is his CHOICE.

See now, this is where taking the time to actually read the thread would pay off. Of course he is free to earn nothing. That really has nothing to do with this thread at all; in fact, if he earned nothing then he wouldn't be complaining about supporting all the fat people in the first place.
If you're going to follow me around dissecting every reply I post then at least take the time to comprehend the subject matter.

Assuming those numbers are right, and that there are what, like 100 million people in this country? So figure that fat people cost the average person 10 or maybe even 100 dollars, right? I can't believe that's even being used as an argument.
Yeah, why do more when you can just sit back and complain about how others are costing you money?

I'm 307lbs in this photo for example.
