what did i say that would lead you to believe you should use something else? theres a very good chance i would have reacted the same way. of course my experience in dealing with naked people is generally ones that are on pcp...Originally posted by Forever_frost View Post

So you have something that should be deployed on an unarmed man before your pistol. I'm glad we covered that as that was my point. If he's to go directly to a pistol on an unarmed person, then take everything away, don't train anyone and just tell them to fire until you're sure the person is deadOriginally posted by jewozzy View Posthow do you know he had that stuff? have we seen picture of his duty belt? i dont carry a taser. ive had mace for 9+ years and have used it once and that was on a possum. a baton isnt something i would use at someone that is charging me. simply put the pistol was already in play because he was giving the guy commands with it. once its in play its hard to put back up while being rushed...

Last time I tried calling in, a guy in a wheelchair was for some reason, lying on the side of the road spinning his chair wheels and looking up at the sky, they told me I wasn't in the county. Then I had to engage in a 20 minute discussion on maps and county lines and yes I'm sure I'm in the county.
What are police response times for citizen calls vs a call from another officer? Do they respond to both equally as quickly?

I wish. He was pretty cool about the whole "side of the road" thing but I didn't trust him not to have someone in the woodline to take the car with me there so I didn't get out. I had the kiddo with me so safety first.Originally posted by 347Mike View PostDon't lie now. One of his wheels grazed the corner of your yard and you pushed him over.

That's interesting considering the last time you started threatening to kick my ass I offered to meet you at JITB immediately. Of course you vanished off the map for "about nine" days right after that.Last edited by Guest; 10-08-2012, 05:11 PM.

Yea, I'm sure you keep tabs on what I do since you have nothing else.Originally posted by Rick Modena View PostIts because he just trolls for 'cops vs the public threads' and nothing else.
Hes way too serious for this board. Every now and then he will post a thread about his failed fishing trips.

Thanks, you just summarized yourself in 2 sentences.Originally posted by Forever_frost View PostNot at all. However holding me, a private citizen, to a standard (you shouldnt' shoot) while saying it's okay for a cop to shoot is insane. If he's not going to use the equipment, take away everything but the pistol and let him kill someone anytime he feels threatened.
I am using your own logic (if there is any) against your argument, not the other way around.
One minute you say you have swift like reflexes and you can assess a threatening situation in a split second and react as needed, then out of the same strike of the keyboard you will say if someone is on your property you will shoot them. You can't have swift like assessing skills and then spurt out of your mouth how you will shoot someone on your own property if they look to be a threat or not.
Detaining doesn't have shit to do with this, so I don't know why you brought it up.
