what a ridiculous over reaction. instead of just abandoning the country, why dont you get into politics, run for office, and/or try changing something or doing something about it. The grass is never greener on the otherside. Not sure how old you are, but from what everybody else says and calling you a stupid kid, you need to really think about things with a level responsible adult brain or have a real sit down with somebody that has one.

It just irks me when there's a legitimate conversation to be had and people degrade it to insults so quickly. we're a large board with lots of different people and while we may not see eye to eye or respect one another's viewpoints i think it's only fair that we be able to discuss it in a *somewhat* non-hostile setting.

You are very correct. This board has always had the reputation of being a little Internet outlaw haven, but things have gone off the deep end in the past 3 or so Years. It's good to see some people care to keep it good.

The phone and internet has the be the most fucked up. The government owns all of the lines and then sells them through private companies. In some areas, you are forced to get a land phone and internet at inflated prices and you get substandard service. Two blocks over however, they have just internet lines, where you get double the speed at half of the price. If you have phone lines coming to the house, then you have to have phone service if you want internet. It can take up to two months just to get internet service hooked up

Too many younger people grew up with full bellies and every latest cool toy out there. They do not appreciate commitment. They want everything handed to them.

I grew up poor. I've worked my ass off only to realize that the harder I work the more I have to give to lazy scrubs that now make up the majority. I've also gotten to see my dollar worth less.

Yes they do. I have a friend over there and the government is just as fucked up as it is here. Hell, up till recently, they couldn't even get M rated video games due to the governments interference. Then there is the lack of guns, the utterly ridiculous way they have the phone and internet structured, the lack of a decent power grid, my friend doesn't even run the A/C in the summer due to it. Their gas prices aren't that much worse than ours, I think he was paying a little over $5 a gallon and they use natural gas a lot.

Damn.
