He is trashing mine, so I am trashing his back.

Again, it's not the leaving part that I take issue with. It's the why and how. It's the manifesto that this country sucks and if they don't change, I am never coming back. I believe i already said that a couple of times.

If it were as simple as "hey guys, just got my visa. Gonna move overseas for a few years and see where that takes me" it would be totally different.

But he is trying to make a point out of it. That is where I find flaw. Not in his action, in his motivation, as he describes it.

I agree with some of the rant but this part is total bullshit.

These aren't the white people numbers. It is like my wives high school. Take out the blacks and they had 12th in the state in math/science, with them they didn't make the top 100.

Take the blacks out of all those stats and the numbers don't matter. A boy I went to school with that played division 2 ball three years and couldn't read on a 3rd grade level. Life expectancy is also lowered by them.

Another stat you forgot that always gets me is our incarceration rate. 1 in 40 males of working age is in our prison system, which for a large part is a for profit business. As a country we make up around 25% of the total imprisoned population of the world. So much for land of the "free", unless you mean free groceries, housing, and phones.

what a ridiculous over reaction. instead of just abandoning the country, why dont you get into politics, run for office, and/or try changing something or doing something about it. The grass is never greener on the otherside. Not sure how old you are, but from what everybody else says and calling you a stupid kid, you need to really think about things with a level responsible adult brain or have a real sit down with somebody that has one.

Funny thing about morals and beliefs, they go wherever you go. He's doing more than anyone else in this thread. If the productive people leave...the bottom feeders die off.

Because it doesn't violate my morals and what I believe in. To some people suffering but standing by your beliefs is preferable to simply having things your way.

I don't suggest you have to do everything, I am just suggesting that you do something. May be small, may be big. May be expensive, may cost nothing. But do something.

I will agree that that's the way to go about it but I don't think I could do it with all the PC Bullshit and red tape you have to deal with now. Our Grandfathers would just shoot the people they didn't like and it seemed to work a little different back then.
