My sister manages a large name restaurant and had a fundraiser setup with a piggy bank. An older piece of shit in his 40s stole the piggy bank. Someone saw and remembered his friend paid with a CC. I tracked that person down and we got a cell # from his work. He ended up trying to bring the bank back for his friend who stole it.

The child's grandfather was not happy with that and the thief ended up bringing it back with a hand written apology.

Now, a month later the thief is now trying to get my sister fired because they assume their names got spread from the credit card receipt. Some people just need to die.
Does this guy need any help with his up coming move?

I wonder if, now that her picture is out in the town where she pulled this shit, who is gonna wait on her now? Rule #1 never piss off the person who handles your food.

In those situations, I like to tip generously based on what the original total would be, and leave them the difference between what I was charged and what was comped in cash.

Gas isn't cheap and is only getting more expensive. $3 is the minimum to keep me from being a disgruntled employee...just saying.
