I'd love to dump my cable, but the girl needs her reality TV. So if she happy, keeps me happy.

how in the world did you ever get roped into paying over a thousand dollars a year for free shit? Do you ride a train and just don't have time to consider the consequences?Originally posted by jyro View PostI am considering it and going back to the antenna. There isn't shit on cable worth watching and I'm paying over $100 a month for 15 commercials every 8 min. on most channels.

inet was too slow before u-verse came here. I paid it for almost 20 years. I have a u-verse phone/cell tv inet package now but programming on tv sucks.Originally posted by Bassics View Posthow in the world did you ever get roped into paying over a thousand dollars a year for free shit? Do the best you can with what you have.

In same boat as you basically. Live in an area comparable to where you live (borderline "sticks") and only 1 provider.Originally posted by jyro View Postinet was too slow before u-verse came here. The OTA service rocks, I use it in my shop and get plenty of channels. I live further north than you do south - so I'd assume you'd get more channels. (Only hesitation is I get Sherman channels too)Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.

Did you have to call and threaten to leave them? I've been with them for just about as long but haven't received any "thank you" discounts.Originally posted by motoman View PostI've been with TWC for 7-8 years now and it seems that I've gotten a better deal every year for the past 3-4 years.
