I'm betting it's a low percentage. We'll never know. I DO know that my daughter is close to that less than two years out of school...and to think all the shit I took about people saying McCombs wasn't "worth it".

Don't know if it's your style or not, but i've had good luck/success sending brief thank you notes to the interviewing party the day after. it's a good way to keep your name fresh on their minds.

Hopefully you gave him a good "Tommy Boy" close on why he should hire you.

It continues too, ala keeping up with the Jones'.

I think once it gets to a point and you're not one of those "gottahaveit!!!" types, you'll find a plateau on spending and be able to save more. I also believe once i have paid back my student loans and get out of a state taking 9% of my money, i will be in a better place financially.

I find it more interesting that people dont think teh OP will make enough money. He isnt shy to say that making $19/hr is $10/hr more than he makes now. For people to try and belittle him or act like they are better because they make more is crazy. Greenville expenses Im sure are less than they are here in DFW. To top it off, he is surviving. $10/hr raise would be a great leap for him.
