Damn, them oil companies sure have deep pockets. I'm in pecos right now and because of all the new oil and has, prices on just about everything has gone up. They have also built a Shit load more hotels. There were two when I grew up here. Now there are 9 or 10 more. Cheapest I could find was 180 a night. Pos town.

I have a buddy getting into running a pipe inspection gauge. His friend has the contracts and is saying 6 figures is easy on 4-6 months of work they get a year. My buddy should be starting in a month and if all goes well I am gonna try and get on when I get fired here in Octoberish.

I know it wasn't a dig at me bud.... And he sounds like a complete fucking worm I mean come on... This is the oilfield... Not oilfields, and SEB. It's only difficult when you are tearing apart a mud pump, fixing broken draw works chains, etc and on rig moves when we rip this thing into 20 pieces and haul it to the next well... If everything is smoothe and Cadillac all you gotta do is scrub paint and organize and keep trash picked up off the location and you will make it just fine, if you can mow yards all summer and have enough discipline to run your own business, you can do this no problem.
