Sure I do, but I see it as pretty black and white, personally. Slippery slopes usually consist of grey areas. I don't really see any grey areas. You're either an adult, or you're not. There is no in between.

I wish people would stop using slippery slope when it comes to moral obligations and precedents. It's a form of logical fallacy, so if you want to apply it, apply it correctly please.

slippery slope there, there are only a handfull of animals that have sex for fun rather than just procreation, and they arent stricktly hertero.

That's really the only reason I can think of, health issues. But I don't really think it's the Fed's right to say anything about it at all. They can't really force sterilization in those situations. I think if anything it should be left to the State level. Marriage isn't mentioned anywhere in the Constitution, or Bill of Rights. Which is exactly why I can't understand why the Federal Govt has any say in the matter at all. If it were at least left to the States, all the homosexuals could go to MA, MD, and CA. And all the sister fuckers can migrate to Arkansas. That way it's not outright banned, they still have refuge somewhere in the US.

I agree and lots of these things are at the state level right now. I agree that the federal government should not be part of this conversation.

This is also a states right. Many different states have different ages for legal consent which I believe Idaho or somewhere around there is 16. Check out the TILF thread
