that would a been a plain and simple problem solved. I would have said "sorry, no problem, have a good day officer. be safe."

there is no need at all to issue tickets for something they cannot prove, no one had a problem with, was in a safe area, etc.....but it didnt go that way. It was a chickenshit ticket and he fuckin knew it which is why he didnt add on to it.

Obviously, there are some sick people who think about murdering cops for being dicks. Sick people surely exist. But it's not normal, and MOST people don't think that way. I'm not a doctor, but I am a sane person, so that's the platform from which I speak. And ya, it sure is unhealhy to think that most of the society thinks the way you described. In general, no. I have yet to come across a situation that would make me genuinely think to kill a person, cop or not.

Like Dee said, the "too fast for conditions" is extremely subjective. You could be going 5 miles an hour in a 30 mph zone, but if the cop thinks you are driving at an unsafe speed then they are going to pop you. Same thing for people driving 10mph under the limit. A Speed Limit is just a place for them to start the observation process, not a legal protection.

Some lawyers use that to get their clients out of speeding on public roads by saying that 15 over on a bright sunny low traffic day is not an unsafe/unreasonable speed - and some are successful with it.

ruining your day is one thing......ruining your life is different. Example: a man and woman are arguing at their home and she halls off and knocks the shit out of the man....he restrains her long enough to get the fuck out of the house. she calls the cops.....he goes to jail and spends a shitload of money trying to prove his innocence. This tends to build a foundation on which this fine gent starts to look at the local authorities in a different light.
