    This. I sat down, considered the pros and cons and approached it like any contractual obligation. At some point the romantic thing will fade, what you have to have left is a good working friendship/business relationship

    Miyako and I dated for about 6 months and I broke it off. A few months later realized I had made a mistake. We dated for a couple more months and I popped the question a day before taking her to meet my family.

    We've been married for almost 19 fantastic years.
