The more I read into this story it just come off as such an odd thing for a guy like Chris to have gone after Jesse with this what has proven to be a completely farcical story. With all the shit that went down during his military career as a decorated sniper and SEAL he feels the need to make up this story to sell a book? It just doesn't add up. From what it appears up to the point that this story came out Jesse was in good standing with the SEAL community and everyone seemed to benefit from it. Yes Jesse hosted a conspiracy show on TV and was critical of the invasion of Iraq stating that it had nothing to do with 9/11, but I don't think he had ever had an instance where he shit on the military as if our decision to go to war was up to the troops. And the premise of Jesse saying those things in a bar with the family present of the SEAL that was KIA is such a low-down despicable thing to be accused of. When I heard about it it really made me think shit of Jesse. I don't especially support anyone involved, but I'm glad the truth finally came out. I can't imagine what that feels like to know you're being thrown under the bus and virtually no one believes your side of the story. Even now after years have passed by and the other stories and all the proof people will still say they don't buy it. His life really did get turned upside down by this guy for some reason. I go even one step further now and say Jesse has some serious balls for staying his course because no matter what he did people were going to fucking hate him. He probably would have been better off just crawling under a rock for the rest of his life. There is some serious venom in people veins for him even now just about these Chris Kyle shenanigans.
I've known some people who would just make up these crazy ass stories just for attention. I use the term "one uppers" for them because every time you are in a group just talking they will always come up with a whopper that you and everyone knows is total bullshit and is just a bit more over the top than anything said to that point. It's like a sickness or something. Chris Kyle had and exemplary military career and even after his service was still heavily involved with helping service members who suffered from PTSD and other disabilities. It's a terrible tragedy the way he was killed and I'm as sorry as anyone for his wife and kids. But this doesn't change the fact that he said some of the most awful shitty things about someone ruining their character for life for what appears to be no good reason other than what people can only guess was to sell a book.Leave a comment:

I don't really care if he did it or not, but I've worked in/for the Government most of my adult life and I know that if a legitimate official came to me and said I didn't see shit then I didn't see shit. Simple as that. When I got out of the AF I was told that I didn't see shit. When I was at my last job I was told that I didn't see shit. At my current job I am told that I didn't see shit...so guess what?

My problem with the glorification of Chris Kyle isn't what he did as a sniper. I think he was really good at what he did and meritoriously did so. My problem is that I feel he did what every other American military member in his situation would have done. I think he probably did make up the story about punching Ventura. They might have exchanged words but I don't see a fight breaking out and some form the media not catching it. TMZ or one of the small military blogs at the very least would've been on something like that with all of their sources. I have read other stories that have just made me roll my eyes as to things he claimed like the double killings at the gas station. Either way i think he had an honorable military career and think he was very good at marketing himself post military.Leave a comment:

I'm appreciative of what kyle did and do think he's quite the badass...but let's be honest with ourselves here. Do yall really believe 100% of His stories? He had a vested interest in selling books. He also may not have remembered some things exactly as it happened. I've known people that could fully convince themselves of something that didn't happen remotely close the the way they remembered it.Leave a comment:

As much of a pile of crap Ventura has made himself out to be, as a Seal I can't believe he would say his fellow brothers deserved to die as well as witnesses stating they never saw a confrontation take place at the bar where Ventura was supposedly punched.Leave a comment:
