Not this. It was a New GMC four door Z-71. The guy at the impound yard told me I can't take pictures. Didn't have enough room in my brothers car I borrowed today to get my tool boxes. But I'm going back tomorrow with another truck. I'm going to put my phone and record mode and leave it in my front pocket.
I was doing pretty good last night. Woke up today ankle is killing me. I don't get checked out last night because I felt good. I'm going in a little though.
Since the driver of the other car didn't have insurance who will pay my doctors bill?
Going to go to the impound lot today to get my stuff out. I'll take some pics. I didn't have a chance to take pics last night at the scene there was so much debris on the road and people were not slowing down so cars were swerving all over the place. Hostess trying not to get runover.
Do you have 'uninsured motorist' protection on your insurance policy? That was what I had to file a claim on. The kid that pulled out in front of me had some fly-by-night internet only liability policy for state minimum coverage--$25,000 total liability. Joke. I had a totalled $20K pickup, $45K in medical/surgery bills and missed 6 weeks of work. They reluctantly paid the $25K but drug their feet until I got a lawyer after their ass. My insurance paid the 'PIP' policy real quick but has been delaying settling the rest. I think everything is finally going to settle in the next few weeks... 4 F'ing years later.

Sorry to hear that and hope you're not too banged up feeling today. Almost the exact same thing happened to a buddy of mine 3 weeks ago on I-75 - clipped in the rear by a drunk without DL or insurance, flipped 5 times, but luckily survived without any major injuries.
So this guy isn't gonna have to pay for almost killing a few people etc? That's bullshit. Absolutely nothing you can do about it. I hope they throw the book at his ass
Glad you're OK--as others have said, if you did not go to the hospital and get checked out--do it now. 3 years ago a kid pulled out in front of me and I T-boned him, not even time to get my foot on the brake. Airbag hit me hard but probably saved me. Did scare the crap out of me as I thought the truck was on fire from the smoke! Anyway, I was fine--I thought--and refused transport to the ER. A few hours later I started having pain all over, neck, shoulders, right upper leg, right wrist. All of it subsided over the next week except the wrist. Had shredded ligaments and ended up going to a hand/wrist specialist and had to have surgery. Missed 6 weeks of work and took a year to completely heal. Insurance company lawyers tried like hell to claim it wasn't due to the wreck because I waited a week to get it looked at. Nearly 4 years later and it still is not settled. Moral? Go get checked out.
Sucks man, I've been there. You're going to be sore as hell and I agree with the others that you should go get checked out. Don't be surprised or feel weak of it freaks you out a little. This was almost 20 years ago when I was in your exact same situation and it was traumatic to say the least.
