lawyer up dude. When I got hit in my thunderbird in 09, my back was jacked, and I couldn't find a doctor that would see me without me paying for every visit up front. I called a lawyer and was in to see a doc that day. I spent the next year in and out of different specialists, and physical therapy. My lawyer did all the dirty stressful crap and I never even had to talk to the other guys insurance. With all the stress and pain I was going through trying to keep up at work and home, along with getting better, that was a damned fine thing. In the end I didn't see a penny for over a year and a half, and would have long sense gone broke without the lawyer getting my doc bills postponed. I say if you really are in pain and need treatment... layer up!

This. When I got hit by a semi, as soon as I could get out of bed again, I had a lawyer. He sucked and the trucking company went out of business but I went to a doctor for the next year to have my back worked on.
