I'm honest with myself too and everyone around me, sure the money would be hard not to take but I still wouldn't go about it the way Chris did. Yes it was his choice but anyone with integrity would have said to themselves "before I just up and sell the site I should probably consult the people that have been a part of it for so long and let them know how I feel about it". The fact that he didn't do it further proves that it was all about the money.

Ok you consult and then dfwstangs burns itself down like it did and you are left with nothing. It was a sensitive issue and he is limited in what he could divulge. He says something it blows up and he is left with nothing. He has no offer and no asset to sell after that is all I am saying.

That's called selfish behavior, and it's becoming quite prevalent in the world today. Yes he can do that, and legally he might be in the right, but it's still a d!ck move, no matter how you cut it.

There are lots of things that are legal to do, but in the end are things a decent human being should not do, and this was one of them. In all aspects of life you should take into account the involvement of others and how your actions will affect them.

Your mentality is what is infecting corporate America today, moving call centers to India, selling out to the highest bidder, sacrificing their employees to appease the stockholder and the bottom dollar, etc. Some thhings are worth more than money, and if you do decide to go that path, don't be shocked when it blows up in your face... don't post up acting like it's a shock that everyone is upset over the situation.
