Do you have a stang or anything you mod? I'm living at my friend's house and the garage is always open if you need a spot to work on something.

I've never lived alone, but after backing out on a contract on a house I needed a place to crash and ended up staying with my parents for about a year, and that's after living on my own with roommates for about 7 years... man that was tough. Pretty much after work (work from home), I was OUT of the house trying to find something to do.

The beach aint so great alone, just sayin'. Get out and make friends. I do enjoy being self-sufficient, and having a place to call my own, but it sucks being so far from "home."

If your family is in DFW, you're in a totally different situation. Live it up, and enjoy.

I am livin' it up, I love San Diego, but I do wish I had my friends to enjoy it with.

I left a loving family and friends to move to San Diego, it was great to have my own place for a while, but I work at home and live at home. It sucks. Get out and about as often as possible, no matter how "small" the reason.
