I honestly don't know what the answer is, but our news media and president are at war with the police for some reason. Oh shit we have a ten second cell phone video and sketchy witness so it must be the fucking truth. Then a month later after the police have been proved just and the lies have been exposed we move on to the next bull shit story.

So tell me, how do we hold the press accountable?

Journalism used to be about reporting facts, now it's about TV ratings and advertising dollars. The average person is too stupid to care about the truth or fActs. Too hard and it takes too long to figure out.

DPD should lead the charge by suing BLM, the AG, and Obama. The county or TX state attorney's office should file charges against the leader of BLM and O. If Charles Manson can rot in prison, so should they.

Honestly. I have worked in two vastly different communities in my 15 years. I was typing something similar to this but just said nahhhhh. Statistics don't lie but anyone that uses the facts gets labeled a racist sometimes. I grew up around good mix of people and in the late eighties to early nineties there was none of this race war bull shit. We all just went to school, had a good time, and fucked off. Department wise I went from a city that averaged 4-6 domestics a day easy, car jacking's, burglaries, assaults etc all the time. We averaged sixty calls a day over there. New city, maybe 4 calls a day and a domestic once a month. My current city reminds me of Duncanville when I was a kid.

I worked that city ten years with no internals or excessive force complaints. Not because I wasn't working, I had plenty of commendations and medals when I left. I do believe being in sales and retail for 12 years helped a lot in dealing with the public.

Now to continue if you're black folk and feel slighted by the country as a whole, or just want to kill someone/LEOs - from a mental aspect the politicians and media have given them all the motivation they need.

You're a LEO in a society that is slowly (but increasingly) crumbling and disintegrating. Read up and catch on to reality, good folks at a minimum do not trust LEOs as a whole. Think what bad folks would do.

Twice yesterday I said Obama has done what Charlie Manson could not. No one replied. We got a black Pres, and now we have the beginnings of a race war..... I never expected that, but it's happening. Race relations are worse than I've ever seen in my lifetime as a result of electing a black President. I never imagined that was even possible.

Charles Manson sits in prison for murders he didn't commit but helped plan and for trying to start a race war. Obama sits in the White House with a huge smile on his face. Ironic..... If Obama really cared about his race, he would help them get educations and jobs instead of pandering to BLM.

Because the police are the face of what is becoming an oppressive government. The police arrest people for breaking laws without questioning if those laws are just. The police stick their noses into other peoples business and believe that it is the just thing for them to do. The police have stolen more money from people in recent years then actual criminals have through civil forfeiture proceedings. The police have been fighting in a declared internal war against the citizenry for 30 years with no end in sight; that war is the war on drugs which in practice has become a war on the 4th amendment. For some reason the police keep shooting peoples dogs and after an internal investigation done by their brothers in blue the dogs owners are told to go pound sand. The police have gotten away from what they were created for in the first place; protecting people from other people.
I could go on and on but I am tired.

FYI: I have no desire to kill you or yours so long as you do not shoot my dog.

Seriously man, you've been giving two or three possible motives. When I was a Soldier - I just assumed everyone loved the military folks, but that's simply not the case. Sometimes you just assume everyone thinks you're doing a great job. YOU may be doing a great job.

However, put yourself in other people's shoes. I personally do not trust most LEOs anymore. Essentially, it feels like the police forces are the enforcers for local/state/federal government and do not have the population's best interest in mind. Granted that's a top down thing, but the folks on the streets are the ones that have the problems from various jacked up policies.

I am not FTP, but like I said I don't trust LEOs.

Now moving on to folks who are just looking for any reason to kill cops. Look at what the media spins! Look at it...just look at it! Essentially it boils down to four things...(2 are more or less fact, 2 are my opinions)

1. Media makes LEOs look bad.
2. Regardless if the LEO is right or wrong, everyone has that little doubt in the back of their mind if it was some sort of cover up (If cleared).
3. Positive police coverage does not draw rating, so it's rarely seen but I believe police do good things throughout everyday. #1 above does draw ratings though!
4. It just seems to me that the police tend to not be very plugged into communities anymore as well. So, no trust for the citizens.

Religious fanatics that commit terrorist acts are also accepted, loved, protected, sheltered and lied for by their close friends and family. Again, you aren't ever going to understand it. Just be ready.....

The best thing you can do is prepare your daughter. This is all just the tip of the iceberg. With education and the economy not working for over 90% of the population or more worldwide this problem is only going to grow.

I know all about evil people, and so does she. But solely because I am a police officer you want to kill me? I don't understand and neither does she.

There are plenty of people that want to kill everyone that won't obey their religion too. How does one explain that? Well the reality is that you can't explain stupid. You just have to be prepared to protect your family and self from it.

Last Wednesday this Micah Johnson would have said he was a veteran and had no criminal history. Then 24 hours later he murdered 5 decent and honorable men, only becuase they were white and wore a police uniform.
