what gear ratio are you going to? 2.73's doesnt sound too fun. lol. should roast some tires pretty easily with some 3.73s or 4.10s.

Just pulled the rear cover off to start doing my axle swap. I knew it had some crappy gears in it, but it's got 2.73's! No wonder I wasn't happy with the gearing.

The 49 Ford is a buddy's car. I ordered all my stuff earlier from north race cars to get my rear end back to fox width. Then I'll be able to tuck the rear tires inside the fenders and get the stance where it really needs to be. Ill update when it's done.

Thats a bit out of the way for me, but I suppose if its a nice day. Here are some updated pics. Got it detailed up today. Not sure when it'll be going to paint now, Im having to dip into my paint fund for a family vacation.
