Lookin good. Guy in Venus has a red one he just swapped the motor on. I think he has a fairly warmed over 351 in it now. I was admiring it the other day as it has been a long time since I have seen one up close. Man those things look bad ass. Sounded good too. He dropped in his new block and fired it up to no oil pressure! I can't remember what he did to cause that, maybe a crossed line on his cooler. Then it was idling the other day and started blowing anti freeze all over the garage. Projects can be very testing at times.

Haha yea I'm not the norm. I bought the kit when I was 27, 32 now. I made some wise investments that turned a good profit that made this possible. If I didn't do that, and get all this rolling before the wife and kid came it would have been impossible. I just got lucky is all it really comes down to.

Big thanks to Kyle over at Texas Tack Works. Trailered the car out there this week. They got me in and out and it drives like a total different car! Also ditched the cheap stainless cylindrical overflow tank, and installed an aluminum Canton overflow tank with sight glass. Along with some water wetter, it's cooling much better, took it out tonight and only had to flip on the fans once.

Man I love jegs, ordered my two front tires Thursday night, came with free shipping. They arrived early Saturday morning! I have an appointment set with Texas Tack works Wednesday for an alighnment. This thing ought to drive like an entirely different car.

That car is AWESOME, man! As much as I like the repro Halibrands in gray/polished, I like them even better in black. Especially with the billboards and knockoffs there to define them!
