No, it is slow. Still has the factory two barrel and intake. Other than shorties, the motor is as it came from the factory.

I think the 4:30's are the culprit.

To clarify, as I've said on this board for over 10 years, my first car was a '69 Boss 302 Mustang that i bought in 1976.

69 Boss' didn't have side scoops if that is what you are asking.

Correct. The Boss 429 did, however, that hood scoop came off of a '69/'70 Mach 1. I was more a little confused as to what the car actually is.

A '70 model with a '69 front end? I like the '69 side scoops because of the look, and it gives the option of making them functional to cool the brakes. Very nice nonetheless.
