    I went for a short cruise last night. The carb is in dire need of a rebuild, so it stumbled around quite a but. Slow as hell, but the rear will walk sideways in 3rd.

    To clarify, as I've said on this board for over 10 years, my first car was a '69 Boss 302 Mustang that i bought in 1976.

    Correct. The Boss 429 did, however, that hood scoop came off of a '69/'70 Mach 1. I was more a little confused as to what the car actually is.
