I have watched that 4 eye change hands since 2007 when I almost bought it but the owner then backed out at the last minute.

So I have this car as of now. I havent even driven it, but glad to keep it in the family. I'll get to playing with it this weekend sometime. I'd really like to get it registered/inspected in the next couple of weeks, and then I plan to take it to JOHN and do a little nitrous kit on it, and see if i can't run some 7.0's as it sits.

would love to see it run 7.9s as it sits, but i'll get a better guage on how fast it actually is soon and set some goals from there. Wish me luck, this is my first mustang!

Finally got the transmission fixed today. Had a bad solenoid. The car runs very good for a stock 4.8. pretty fun.

Do you have the ability to scan for codes?

Yeah, it has a tcc code and shift solenoid code.

Melted the positive battery post when starter wire grounded. Fixed that. I really think rebuilt trans has a bad shift A solenoid. I still have no 1st or 4th gear. Need to get james out.

Transmission default or limp in is usually 2 and 3 gear only.

Viper spec t56 is what is in mine. I should have the hydraulic throwout bearing conversion and new twin disk clutch running this weekend.
