Are you able to upgrade the pan? What kind of oil did you run in your 350's? I haven't had any frothing issues in my 305, but I'm running a circle track pan and VR1 20-50.

One of the more reliable engines.Originally posted by jw33 View PostLima 2.3 mafia forever.....
The 350 for sure, oil froth kills the bottom end. We had a carb issue that hurt a couple 302's, leaning out and burning pistons, then we couldnt keep it from blowing head gaskets, thought I acutally think we ended up with cracked heads when we swapped them out. Oiling or overheating (valve seats, etc) do kill a lot of engines.Originally posted by racrguy View PostWith the 302 and 350, is it an oiling problem that kills 'em?

We built a 302 every race, but have 15000 RACE miles on our miata. 350 chevy's die quickly, most any honda engine, Mitsubishi, the 2.5 mazda/probe, 22r toyota, etc.

Maybe it's because of the money constraints, they are probably all clapped out before the race.

Ive never seen one finish a lemons race.Originally posted by VaderTT View PostI've had a few and they worked great, beating on them daily. Plus it has one of the best rod to stroke ratios of the b series engines. My turbo 95 made 330hp on a stock long block and afaik it's still running, I built it in 06.

Will be selling the stock teal one once the blue car is running with the 1.8L.Originally posted by 90GT50 View PostYou're not helping me try to save money.
Don, any good deals? LOL
There's WAY more to this than just the flat tire. The new Maintenance supervisor guy has already flexed his non-chooo$$$$choooo$$$ authoritah to other residences and made veiled threats that if we worked on anything in the parking lot again it's grounds for eviction. Prior to this, the extent of my "working on car in the parking lot" was very minimal. So fuck that guy, they can tow it now LOL.Originally posted by talisman View PostApparently you can get them so cheap it's easier to just go buy another one than fix a flat tire.
Yea, and it took us only a legitimate 4 hours. 6-10p and that was all accomplished.Originally posted by FOKAI View PostAll that work in the parking lot?
I already told her that I she can't love me for my Festy's it isn't meant to be!Originally posted by bcoop View PostI would shit on your doormat, and hood, every single day.
Don, you better marry that chick before your OCD runs her off.
Way ahead of ya.Originally posted by Rreemo View PostDude! buy a house or rent a damned shop already....
