i don't like the deal at all. Boras got his 7 years, but at least the price was lower than the initial ask. So now we have fielder and choo for what seems like forever. I'm just not impressed. (even though i like the fielder deal for at least the next 3-4 years.

If Fielder hit 25 hr and had 106 rbi with Comerica as his home park, those numbers I would think go up at the Ballpark. 32-36 hr and 115-120 rbi, I'll take it. Too bad he won't do that for the next 7 years though. I suspect he'll have 3-4 good years hear before he begins declining.

Just saw that Fielder's career is over. He was a waste this year, and not bad last year when his neck was right. Rangers can get insurance money on his contract at some point. I'm not a huge fan of his, so it won't hurt my feelings if he doesn't make it back.

I thought it then, and I still think it. The Detroit Tigers knew something was wrong with him.

I still am happy with that trade because Odor would still not be up right now if Kinsler was still here. I think Odor is a better all around second baseman.

Yes, seemed to me like Hamels had more to do with us losing than Marc and more with Elvis and Mitch winning it for us, than Marc too...

Hamels allowed 2 runs in 6 innings. That should be a win.
