Which practice swing was this? His swing is hard to imitate because one, it is from the wrong side of the ball, and two, I cannot swing the club that far to the inside.
When you were doing the set-reset-reset-reset wagglewaggle reset thing. I about died.
Dammit, I tried - but coudlnt' get the camera out fast enough.

Jesus I wish someone would have taped Dave doing that on the tee box! I damn near had a stroke laughing !!!
What would have been funny is a vid of my foul ball off the tree into someone's chest...I still think that fool is FoS on me hitting someone as I saw the ball ricochet off the tree and it didnt appear to go near anyone. But I didnt follow it until it stopped so I cannot be sure. All I know is that it hit that tree hard and went straight right.
Until Don changes his swing plane he will always struggle with his game. He takes the club back way to far to the inside which makes it very hard to get the club on plane on the downswing.
Larger iron heads "give golfers confidence"... I think they're fucking ugly and don't want to play a gaudy nasty cast cavity back with a 1/2" wide top line that feels like I'm using a spatula on a stick to hit the ball.
You didnt lose a single iron shot? You mean you did not lose the ball after you hit it? But yes, I am serious when I say that your game will get exponentially better by switching irons. There's a reason why they have game improvement irons for higher handicap players...
I ask questions because I know I have inconsistencies in my swing. You tell me to go buy some fucking shovels and that'll fix it... Then come back and say my swing plane is fucked.
I said I need to fix things, I said it's the Indian not the arrow.
That's why he will stay a 30 handicap who thinks he is a 5 handicap. Funny thing is he always texts me questions about the golf swing and issues he is having and when I give my opinion, he disagrees and goes into this diatribe as to why I am wrong. If you have all the answers why ask the questions?

The tendency will be to come over the top and hook the piss out of it...like he did all day Sunday. A good drill to help with this is the take your 6I and grip it down onto the metal about 3" below the grip. Then take the club back halfway. The butt of the club should be pointing at the ground by your toes and not somewhere off in front of you.
With an open mind, I could get his swing to where he would have much more fun on the course.
Don, carry your ass to Houston in 2wks and we can play a couple courses down here...and go to the range and fix that damn ugly swing!
