    There really is no other vehicle like it anymore. The old FJs had similar qualities, but you're not gonna find anything like it thats built currently. Thats my only guess at least. The newer TJs dont seem like they are worth the money. As always the market determines the price, gotta keep an eye for a good buy

    The 4.0L is one of the best engines ever made. I'm surprised you've had electrical issues, those are not too common on XJ's.

    My daughter has a high mileage 99 xj. I've been quite impressed with the zip that the 4.0 has, and have been unimpressed with all of the electrical issues that I've had to track down. I think that the power train will probably outlast the body on that thing.

    yeah I watched him get hung up on his shoc mount at least 4 times. One of them I recorded where he got hung up on a rock and spent like 5 minutes trying to get off it. problem was we were on 45* grade and I didn't want that heavy ass jeep barreling into me.
