oh, UpOnOne, I forgot to mention yesterday, the most important thing you absolutely have to watch out for with an XJ is the unibody. If any of the doors are difficult/sticky to open or close, or the trunk, run. Most serious wheelers with an XJ get unibody stiffeners to help prevent the unibody from deforming from offroad use. If a XJ is being sold without doors, there's a reason for it. And its not because it "looks cool". LOL

Of course, 4.0L is one of the best engines ever made. And they are dirt dirt cheap.

Looking good kingjason. I'm glad you kept the paint color. Nothing new with our jk, I had made up my mind that we were selling it and getting a cheap econobox, but if I can find a job making a little more money we will keep it. If I keep it I'm getting a set of 38 inch geolanders next year around tax return time.

Wife had to have this pile of junk

Pretty much the way it sits now, except for the half doors.

I couldn't find and steel half doors for a cj, so i took the junky ass full doors that were on it, yanked the glass and cut it down.

I could have gotten away with 37's but then the $ just goes thru the roof on upgrades. I wanted to keep in the 8.8/ 44 range of tires. Also I like the low COG for entry and exit since I will drive it alot to keep the miles off my Diesel. Probably about the same price as a small lift and none of the side affects.
