Honestly it's like starting an Android vs. iPhone discussion, they both have loyal followings. Overall the Intel i7 processors are better regarded (and benchmark marginally higher) but the AMD A8 processors are also very good. In the end, I wouldn't hesitate to go with either one, just listing that deal since some people have preferences on processors.

Tax is going to be $40-$50. I'd suggest just picking one up locally at a Frys if you can.

Alright, gotta save up some cash for that one. lol. I really doubt ill play any games on it. Not much of a pc gamer at all. But if it plays 1080p video and is fast. Im all for it. BUt i doubt ill push the limits of the thing. lol

The best thing about the ASUS laptops is they use pretty much all their own components where it's possible and ASUS makes quality components.

Also, backlight keyboards laptops are really expensive arent they?
