SO does this movie tie into the originals at all? or a reboot?

Sequel. Everyone knows about the dinosaurs from the second movie. Someone bought the island from the first film and actually got it opened "safely". I believe the only returning character is Dr. Wu, played by the same actor. He was the one who told Grant in the first movie they were breeding raptors and also explained the way they ensured the dinos were all female. He actually had a pretty large role in the novel.

I will definitely be seeing this. Probably in an IMAX 3D theater, too. Probably will drop at least $30 on a ticket and snacks. I just hope I don't walk out like this....
