Why should we be coerced into economic burdens to the cover for others who are worse offenders who are not willing to do anywhere near the same amount of mitigation? Is this more of that American guilt we're supposed to feel?

Because your not going to replace it with something better or anything at all. Rather than act like we care a little bit, or act like a leader, we're just going to back out. Others will follow our lead (for a time, soon we won't be the world leader in anything but bombs). Fix the problems with it.

And you know damn well Trump doesn't give a crap about this. He doesn't care how much we pollute. He's scientifically illiterate. This move comes from other agendas.
