I'll address the point in a min, but your post was a literal cut/paste from Huffington Post.

The move is a particularly egregious repudiation of the international community because the Trump administration could have negotiated for lower emissions targets under the Paris Agreement, officials and the pac....

You can do better. What are YOUR thoughts? How does Rodney think the US' relationships with China and the EU will change today?

    You're deflecting.
You made a statement that backing out of the Paris Accord would fuck up our relationships with China and the EU. Why do you say that? What's your basis? What will change, and why?

And to your post (and the point that you completely missed) if you think that a man who made his fortune in the business world is not looking at the Paris Accord from a financial / P&L viewpoint then you're delusional.

Because your not going to replace it with something better or anything at all. Rather than act like we care a little bit, or act like a leader, we're just going to back out. Others will follow our lead (for a time, soon we won't be the world leader in anything but bombs). Fix the problems with it.

And you know damn well Trump doesn't give a crap about this. He doesn't care how much we pollute. He's scientifically illiterate. This move comes from other agendas.

Also, your argument is "but its unfair!!". Pick any topic, we should be the world leader. Pushing farther ahead, doing more for good. Not whining about other countries.

What gets [more] fucked up with China when the US decides that we'll do it our own way? China emits double the amount of CO2 that the US does. What's going to change? What does a 2x "offender" lose by us not playing along?

Trump said that this agreement "front loads costs on American people." Do you disagree with that? Look at the per capita CO2 emissions of some other countries...

The US pledged a 17.89% reduction, while those countries higher in emissions per capita committed to reductions of:

Fun fact: In about 15 minutes Trump will be announcing that the US will be withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accord.
