I have looked and cannot find the photo of my friends that kersploded. It sucked. It was interesting to look at and I remember 3 different gunsmiths tell him that he was lucky, as if it happened in a regular steel frame .45, he would need a new face, or some such crap. We were young, and learned a lot about shooting reloads.

#1 rule in reloading is not to screw up. Whenever I think I might have a COL slight off or possibly a powder inconsistency I toss all the rounds into a huge bin I have to be pulled. Gotta be careful.

i went from a xd40sc to a sig p226 because, like you, i wont be getting my chl for another year or two.

so pick a full size 9mm imo if you want something to play with
