    Unquestionably. Ask Matt!

I bought a 1911 as my first gun and it's been great, operates smoothly and feels nice in your hand. I use it for the range and a SHTF situation at home. I haven't had any experience with any of the XD's but people always have good things to say about them. I will agree with most others and say shoot a few different guns before you buy one.

Truth. Its gonna be a range gun and a possible home defense gun, NOT a carry gun. No reason for that horrendous thing glock calls a "trigger" if its not going to be carried.

    /thread.

    CDNN has a USP 45 full size for $540, a Sig 226 for $490.

Damn is that what they go for now? I stockpiled some last I had the chance, some guy was selling LEO leftovers and they were much cheaper. If they go for that, might be time to sell a few. But the upside is, nobody else makes USP mags except HK. Its not like the 1911 that you have to be cautious of who made the magazine. Not saying the USP is superior, but just one less concern to have when purchasing a magazine.

Im far from it. I just dont sit around talking shit about a product that works. Glocks work, they do everything theyre suppose to. I used to own a lot of different pistols, I even had a couple HK's and I thought I was hot shit. I think HK's are for people who buy guns to look cool for their friends as I see no reason to pay that god damned much money for a gun that doesnt offer anything more than a glock, springfield, kahr, etc. Dont give me the damn external safety argument, for the 500 I save by buying a Glock or Springfield I can buy a damn gun safe.

Glock doesn't dominate the handgun market cause they suck

I like Glocks but that video had me rolling. I'm secure with my Glock side.

Just to add in... I will not be getting my CHL initially (maybe in a year or two after I am comfortable with a handgun). It will just be a range gun, go to the farm and shoot cans gun, keep at home just in case gun, and of course to shoot any Texas Rat Snakes...

Please convert to LEM and give to me, thanks.

The same people who complain about the grip angle of a glock say an XD/XDM is unacceptable because of a high bore axis. For most shooters, Neither really matter. Pick a reliable gun of whatever brand you choose and practice. Also, just because something feels great in your hand at the store doesn't mean you will shoot it great. Ive started improving once i realized that it's not the gun....it's me who needs improvement
