IF this race happens, it will lose in excess of $20,000,000. I have a major beef with anybody like Tavo thinking that pro motorsports is a charity. That guy has been around for decades and everybody knows what he is. He may have good intentions, but the bottom line is, he was trying to hit a home run financially for himself without using any of his own money.

Oh snaps, instead of the Sports Forum, I might have to move it to the SMACK!

I'm still not convinced that the race is going to happen. But being paid to be at a racetrack doesn't really have a bearing on whether it happens or not, just the same was as working in finance doesn't really make me any more well-qualified to run a hedge fund than a racecar driver.

Care to put your money where your mouth is? I'll throw down a couple hundred that it does happen, if only because you've been so defiant at every step along the way and I'm not convinced that your insight is coming anywhere but from a pissy inner-circle in IndyCar that doesn't like how easily they've been upstaged.

Im thinking about moving this thread to the Sports Forum.

    For one, I enjoy F-1.
Two, its starting to turn into a F-1 thread...

Alright, alright. I just got my fill of watching Schumacher make a mockery of the field as a kid, so I get jumpy at the thought of him struggling.

Still waiting for Kimi and Grosjean to take a race each; Grosjean has been too fast not to and Kimi has been at the front too often not to.

yea, the points are no indication of michael's year. i put the 1 wreck squarely on him but the rest were mechanical issues.

this week his pace was so much better than rossbergs. last week he did great.

mercedes and mclaren have been caught up since the beginning of the year. mclaren squandered their opportunities.

agreed with matt on this season. austin's race is shaping up even more each race.
