I was going to post that but felt you or another gun nut should answer that.

I get away with quite a bit of bitchiness with the company I work for. They just prefer that I keep it on the passive aggressive side.

    Seriously.

When you have an idiot staring you in the face and you have to be professional, well, it's very very tempting to step outside the boundry.

Back in 1994 I used to get paper checks. I lived in a nice apartment in SW FTW and did apartment security. A 2 BDR/2 Bath 1050 sq ft apartment ran me $150/month. There were checks that I wouldn't cash so I wouldn't spend.

One day I was out on White Settlement road by Angelo's and checked a guy doing 68 in a 35. That road sucks, and that speed is unrealistic due to the potholes, etc...

The guy called me every name in the book and when I had him sign the ticket he said "I pay your salary".... Holding the ticket book in one hand, I pulled my check out of my shirt pocket and compared his signature to the one on my check. I showed him and said "funny, the signatures don't match"...

You would have thought I slapped him. He went from ballistic to OMG terminal!

He ended up calling my Sergeant I and got a nice ass chewing over that one.

    Some things are worth it.

    I agree 1000000%.

Sometimes you need to stare ignorance in the face and call it what it is.
