to which I said that I was super angry riding atop my high horse because my insurance monies pay for her medical treatments... I think skinny people with thyroid problems are just using it as an excuse. They should just change their diet to cheeseburgers, brisket, and copious amounts of liquor... Those are the staples of my diet, and I've actually never used my health insurance since I started getting it ~10yrs ago.

I still have no fucking clue what your point is. My point in saying that is: it's a nice thing for people to have insurance and be able to see a medical professional when one needs to be seen. Unlike others who are uninsured and have to fight to get an appointment, pay inflated fees and are forced to buy medication from India or Mexico due to cost.

Are you 100% sure that you have a prolactinoma? It is a common misdiagnosis because many patients with primary hypothyroidism will have an enlarged pituitary gland and elevated TSH secondary to the disease process.
