They have to pay to keep the judgement updated, annually I believe. Once it lapses you can start trying to get it removed. Texas also has a 4 year statute of limitations that opens up possibilities of getting the debt scrubbed early as well. Texas is really friendly to the debtor and offers quite a bit of protection.

Private EMS and agencies out perform public agencies every time. I really like the subscription fire service in Georgia. Don't pay your subscription, you're not covered.
Not sure what you are trying to say here. It sucks its coming down to this for many cities. My city is in rough shape as far as budget goes, but thank god its not that bad.

LOL, the lien talk wasn't really about the city. I lost track of the thread and was talking about a consumer not paying his bills.

In a city that large you are not fighting grass fires, a monkey can fight a grass fire. These days 90% of FD calls is EMS related. Do you want some volunteer firefighter, with poor training or base knowledge coming into your home when your father is having a heart attck, or when your 1yr old son is having seizures?

Must be a typical lazy, shitty government employee that's unemployable elsewhere.
Exactly. Most government workers have no skills or work ethic that translates into non affirmative action/ competition based private sector work
