I can't recall ever being called one before, but I have witnessed a very heated screaming match in which it was being used in such a manner that one would be 100% convinced it was very offensive. But I had to laugh.

My point on the racism, is that when this group of people started hanging out in 1999 there was a small group and it was a diverse group, a few whites, a few mexicans and a few blacks. When the website started we all hung out and as it grew the core was still mixed, no one was going around calling each other niggers or wetbacks or crackers, etc. (Well except for Sean88gt, but hety it Sean for cryong outloud).
If there has or always been a constant, it has been that we have respect for one another, the newbs don't get it or don't care. I for one will always try to keep it like it was (has been), most of us are friends and know one another, you get some of these numb nuts (mostly newbs) that get on here and show their ass, well show it and we will handle it.

It's just not, though. Anyone can make up a word and try to make it a slur and use it to offend people. When it doesn't work as intended, it carries no weight.

For example, I could go around calling every Asian person I see a napkin. It doesn't make sense, and they'd probably just laugh at me or give me a wtf look. That's how I think 99% of white people view the word cracker, and I have never witnessed or even heard of the other 1% that may or may not exist. It's just some random word that has zero sting to it. Everyone knows that's not the case with the n word.

I've never in my life met or heard of a person who gets offended by the word cracker. But maybe I don't get around enough.
